Revisiting Lester Brown's "Eco Economy" and "Plan B"
For concern about our world – whether income inequity or melting polar ice – Lester Brown's 2001 and 2003 books Eco-Economy: Building An Economy For the Earth and Plan B:Rescuing a Planet under Stress and a Civilization in Trouble merit a revisit. These books zero in on straightforward solutions, an indispensable focus for productive discussion of economic and ecological trouble.
Recent books echo Brown’s. . . Some refine the detailed options, but all agree on the ever more desperate need for . . . an ecologically honest cost/benefit analysis.
We can do this, as Plan B and Eco-Economy and other recent books make crystal clear.
Here's my full review of Lester Brown's work on Goodreads.
